Potato Manchurian.

Veg,but it looks like non veg.

 Yes its the best recipe if u want to make something special and you dont have chicken or meat in ua freezer.Its my version so for sure there will be some Indian touch.Indo Chinese yaay!!

Its crispy fried  potatoes coated in some sauces with garlic and some other veggies.yummy it tastes


For coating potatoes[marination]
  • 2 medium sized potatoes[cut into small cubes]
  • 1 tspn chilly powder
  • 1/2 tspn peper powder
  • 1/2 tspn garam masala
  • 1 tblspn lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tblspn cornflour
  • 1tblspn all purpose flour
  • salt as per taste
  • Water only if u need

For Sauce
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum  finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tspn tomato paste
  • 1 tblspn chilly sauce
  • 1 tblspn tomato sauce
  • sugar to balance the taste a pinch
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • some curry leaves


1.Mix all the ingredients in marination for coating potatoes.Then fry it in medium flame until potatoes are done.
2.In a wok pour some oil put curry leaves, garlic saute well add in tomato paste mix well and cook for some time,then add onions,capsicums,spring onion whites and saute well in high flame add all sauces, if there is any leftover marination mix it with some water and pour it to the sauce so the gravy thickens,Put the fried potatoes in this and mix well.garnish with spring onion greens.Our  Indo Chinese potato manchurian ready now.Serve hot with chappathis and pooris.

  • Make sure that you cut the potatoes in small cubes, as we are not cooking it before it will remain uncook.Also fry it in medium flame.
  • Put the fried potatoes just before serving to get that crispy texture.
  • U can also make this fried potatoes as an evening snack with a sip of tea.
